buggy

Simple idea, good graphics. The gameplay was a bit confusing at first, but it's easy to guess. However, it threw runtime errors at me! And not just at the loading screen. This game clearly needs to be debugged.

Nice room game

No silly puzzles that doesn't make sense, hidden items and locations, good stuff. This is a good entry in the genre. But either I am getting good at this or this was easy, given that I actually managed to complete it.

Kinda hard

It is also glitchy enough to cause an infinite loop if you have bad luck with the jumping at the compactor stage.

Somewhat buggy, but great work

I get runtime errors during gameplay that I don't give a crap about. And it lags once in a while.
It also would be nice to set the gameplay options without being busy playing. And I couldn't find a way to exit the show, even if it exists, it's not clear enough.
Good design, but some noticeable flaws that prevents a perfect score.

Worth paying for

But next time, tell us in advance that the game is a trial version.

The graphics are just beautiful. Simple, yet effective and also neat. I like the details you put in, like the crossing sparkles and the fact that connected nodes are highlighed. The level design is even better than the last time, A class matterial.

The music is a perfect fit as well, it really sets the right mood for this game and it works very well with the art style you are using.

Benjaminsen responds:

Thanks for the feedback.

The idea was to let the loader communicate that you where playing a trail. But I can see how it's not clear enough on the message. I will look into getting that changed.

Glad you liked it!

Well made game

The boss fights was intense, yet with some practice fairly easy. The platforming is a bit on the hard side, requiring tricky double jumps. The difficulty is just right. Yes, it is annoying having to restart the full game if you die, especially after defeating the bosses. But I think that you made the right choice. But it would have worked very well either way.

Not same excelent game

You show that even the original could be improved. You added everything that was missing in the original. Extremely good work. Do quit your day job, you have skills.

matt-likes-swords responds:

This is my day job.

Good game, with hidden flaws

Random instead of fixed gameplay and no save function ruins an excellent game. And I don't like the syncing on some of the tracks, it feels wrong on some.

Waste of time

Virtual piano, but with an uglier interface. The concept itself is flawed, it is too thin to entertain more than 2 minutes. The graphics are boring and does not give any impact on me. The text is hard to read instead of looking cool. There was only one instrument as far as I could tell. The preloader was broken, it's your fault if the sound loads before it, not flash.
Move along, nothing to see here.

xytor responds:

You're right, there is no reason to have a broken preloader. It's fixed now!

Worst in the series

The puzzles where too abstract and felt like stock puzzles instead of clearer situations. Oh and they where either very simple to get or very hard. The only parts where the difficulty was just right was the first two parts, that is, up to and including the bug in the tree.
Oh, and the game was buggy too, I got runtime errors while playing it. Also, the hit detection on the dragging parts was bad too.
I have to agree, the restriction on what character could do each action was pointless for the most part and didn't feel like it was logical.

Don't expect me to cut you any slack, I say what I feel. If I think that something was done wrong, I will tell you, with or without manners. Just don't dare using video for the wrong reasons or write a bad actionscript "tutorial", I am not kind on those.
